XMenTV looks at 16 mutant characters from the X-Men world who would be perfect to show up on The Gifted. X-Men TV: 16 Uncanny Mutants We’d Like To See On The Gifted

#5. Rogue

Stephen Moyer, one of the leads of The Gifted, has a special tie to the X-Men universe already: His wife, Anna Paquin, was Rogue in several X-Men films. Since the films seem to be taking place in other time periods, nothing’s to say that the woman with the ability to absorb powers by touch couldn’t or shouldn’t show up on The Gifted TV show, unless the movies and TV are truly expected to permanently say separate.

As a bonus: Rogue was one of the first mutants we ever “met” as viewers in the first X-Men film, so that would be a lot of fun to see.

#6. Scarlet Witch

Marvel and FOX have already had their dueling Quicksilvers, and it’s likely safe to say that FOX got the better end of the deal with the Evan Peters version from the movies. Maybe the TV show could have their own Scarlet Witch as well? The notion that she, like possibly Lorna Dane, is the daughter of Magneto is always something fun to play with, especially since Lorna is a part of The Gifted.

Since Marvel and FOX seem to be playing nice with this show, another Scarlet Witch probably won’t happen. But it would certainly be interesting.

#7. Siryn

Speaking of children of the original “gifted,” we saw Banshee in X-Men: First Class, but what about his daughter, Siryn?

Yes, we did see her briefly in X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, but if characters like Kitty Pryde and Blink can be recasted eventually, so could this one, especially since it’s been so long since we’ve seen her.

And, hey, she’s Deadpool’s favorite member of X-Force. So, there’s that.
