FOX has released a new preview trailer for The Gifted, and this one is extra special because it contains some clips that we are assuming are from the show’s second episode!

The series begins Monday, October 2 on FOX, and this trailer focuses on the mutants of the series. Appropriately enough, the trailer is called “The Mutants Unite.” Photos from the series premiere can be found here.

Produced in association with Marvel Television, and set in the “X-Men” universe, family adventure series THE GIFTED tells the emotional story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their teenage children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family seeks help from an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The series stars Stephen Moyer (“Shots Fired,” “True Blood”), Amy Acker (“Person of Interest”), Natalie Alyn Lind (GOTHAM) and Percy Hynes White (“Night at the Museum 3”) as the STRUCKER family. Also starring in the series are Sean Teale (“Reign”) as ECLIPSE/MARCOS DIAZ; Jamie Chung (GOTHAM) as BLINK/CLARICE FONG aka CLARICE FERGUSON; Emma Dumont (“Aquarius”) as POLARIS/LORNA DANE; Blair Redford (“Satisfaction”) as THUNDERBIRD/JOHN PROUDSTAR; and Coby Bell (“Burn Notice”) as Sentinel Services Agent JACE TURNER.

THE GIFTED is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television. Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”), Bryan Singer (the “X-Men” franchise), Lauren Shuler Donner (“X-Men: Apocalypse,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”), Simon Kinberg (“X-Men: Apocalypse,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”) and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory serve as executive producers. Nix, who serves as the series’ showrunner, wrote the pilot, which was directed by Singer.
